Colorado
A brief opinion about Denver: It's flat, high, and dry. The
streets are straight, there are no trees, and the mountains
are in the west (which is useful for navigation (which is
useful because one usually ends up spending a good deal of
their time in Denver driving)).
In general, the Denver people were too obsessed with sports
for me. Athletes are catered to especially heavily in high
school and college (which can cause one who excelled in
something besides sports to be resentful of this (which
probably played a large part in the Columbine tragedy)). Of
course, there are exceptions to this sports fanaticism, but
the citizens voted to have taxpayers pay for a new Bronco
stadium.
